The THURSDAY TRAVEL CLUB at THE MANOR HALL was founded in the year 2000, as a User Group at the MANOR HALL, for the local Community.

We met on the first Thursday evening monthly for illustrated travel presentations.

These evenings proved to be so popular, that the evening programme has now expanded, and we meet on the first & second Thursday evenings monthly from September to and including March, and frequently have visiting speakers.

Having viewed presentations on Holland, Ireland and Austria, I was encouraged to organise Group visits. Following up this idea, we now have enjoyed Coach Tours to Holland, Ireland twice, Dolomites, Norway twice, 3 nights in a French Chateau and Austria.

To enhance the Programme, Day excursions prove popular, besides shorter UK Breaks. Generally, Reg has been to the destination planned & with back up of established Travel / Coach Companies, have safe and enjoyable journeys.

At each meeting, £2.50 is collected to cover costs of hire, refreshment & speakers expenses.

YOU are invited to share an evening of 'armchair travel' in a warm friendly atmosphere. There, you may be inspired to enjoy a day excursion or longer Break.
